The wild southern Atlantic coast
This excursion departs from Vigo or Villagarcía de Arosa and proceeds to Baiona to visit its fortress and the old town, We then go to La Guardia, the southernmost town of Galicia, stopping on our way in Sta. Maria de Oia, and then going to Santa Tecla mountain, where you can enjoy splendid views of the estuary of the Miño river and Portugal and visit the old prehistoric Celtic settlement. From there we visit a wine cellar and finally head to Tuy, a small town bordering Portugal, once the capital of Galicia, where you can see its fortified cathedral.
